Belize Birding Tours

Discover Fascinating Birds with our Belize Birding Tours

With over 350 resident and migratory birds and a team of Belize’s most experienced birding guides on hand, the Belize Rainforest Retreatat Chaa Creek is a birding paradise. Belize’s temperate climate and richly diverse environment provide habitats for some 605 native and migratory bird species, and our specialised birding guides know where, when and how to find them. Miles of well-maintained trails crisscrossing the protected rainforest within Chaa Creek’s 400-acre private nature reserve give experienced birders and novices alike unparalleled opportunities to observe this amazing variety of birds, their nests and habits. It’s no wonder the Foundation for Wildlife Conservation and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee selected Chaa Creek as one of the Belizean sites for their years long Birds Without Borders project, providing a wealth of information and hands-on training for our own birding guides. The Chaa Creek nature reserve is also listed as a Birding Hotspot on eBird.
